It’s a new year and you’d expect to find entire lines of new fashions with a different twist emerging from the runways of top designers.
This year, prepare yourself for some familiar looks. I guess “What’s old is new again” and “What goes around comes around” are both very true analogies for male fashionista’s in 2010.
Classic looks are making their way back into men’s closets after exhausting nearly every possible fashion idea over the past years.
You don’t always have to wear a suit to let people know you mean business. However, wearing only the jacket says it all. A dark suit jacket paired with any solid button down/collared shirt alongside a pair of jeans or the never-out-of-style pair of khakis is a classic, yet comfortable look that will never go out of style.
This Spring, expect to see a lot of earth tones carried through the spring and into summer…which unfortunately includes Orange.
With the exception of a few semi-outrageous items on the male runway…I mean seriously, so many times the fashions on the runways in Milan, Florence or New York are not for the average guy. I don’t care if you’re juice-head, a daddybear, drag queen or flamer. . . no one would wear some of those things.
You know what I mean. You’ve seen those gorgeous models on the runway in pret-ty outrageous creations that you think could only be donated from David Bowie’s closet and then, “Q: who would wear that?” runs through your mind.
Whether it’s a clambake on the East Coast, an Office party in the Midwest or a Friend’s Wedding or going for a swim on the West Coast, knowing how to dress for your own comfort vs. what’s appropriate to wear can only guarantee a good time.
“SOME DO’S & DON’TS“
Clam Bake:
Machine-washable or dry-cleanable lightweight cotton is going to be very handy . Simply because accidents with butter sauce will most likely happen.
Office Cocktail Party:
You should be wearing the same thing you’re wearing to the office: Your suit. Lose the jacket only after your boss loses his. Same goes for getting drunk.
Black Tie:
It’s interesting how many men still don’t know what “Black Tie” means. This generation of distressed jeans and a 3-day beard growth can feel free to blame society on the expectations of appearance for extremely formal events. Other than a night at the Academy Awards and an occasional wedding, tuxedos are finding themselves more extinct every year. Simply? If it’s Black Tie – and you don’t own your own tuxedo. . . go and rent one. The pride of owning one’s own tuxedo is a rare find these days. Despite a classic tuxedo has a characteristic of pointed lapels, recent renitions and different takes on the classic have now evolved into what looks like satin lapelled suit coats, which can sometimes be more flattering on your body type.
There are four styles in which it comes − single or double breasted with peaked lapels with a facing in grosgrain on the lapel. There is also the single or double−breasted shawl collar, which comes with either satin or grosgrain on the facing of the lapel.
Tuxedos are not truly complete without the right selection. A tuxedo package offers a unique stylish look for man’s personality. The complete range of Mens tuxedos includes tuxedos coat, pants, shirt, cummerbund, bow tie, studs and cufflinks. If youre looking for formalwear, get the entire package of Mens Tuxedos. Entire Mens tuxedos suits set including shoes e great looking formalwear for special occasion.
Beachwear:

Board shorts, no longer than the knee and no higher than mid-thigh. If you’re headed to a private residence with a pool, invest in a pair of swim trunks with some personality. If you plan on staying dry, flat-front khakis and a fitted polo or short sleeve shirt will take you far.
Wedding:
Formal – Obviously, you should be in a buttoned down shirt and tie, at the very least. But a suit should definitely be sported for this type of occasion. The couple has just spent $50.00 a plate for your dinner; the least you can do is put on a jacket and tie.
Beach Ceremony – A white cotton suit paired with either a subtle patterned or striking shirt looks flawless yet classic as your chest peaks through the top 2 buttons opened up. It screams casual, poised, and you’ll know that they’re looking at you for a good reason.
