Fashion icon Amanda Lepore kicked off Sydney’s giant gay pride parade Saturday, The Sydney Morning Herald reported.
The annual Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade drew an estimate 100,000 people along its Oxford Street route to enjoy more than 135 floats celebrating famous gay and lesbian people throughout history.

Eminem is at it again! He has agreed to censor his lyrics in order to avoid anti-gay protests in the UK.
Promoters for the 2010 Wireless Festival did not want gay rights groups like OutRage! to protest the concert due to Slim being on the bill.

Thousands gathered in London Friday night to rally against the sudden surge of anti-gay hate crimes in the area, including the recent murder of 62-year-old Ian Baynham, who was en route to a club for a night on the town when he was attacked.
